Bravo! 2025-2026

This year BRAVO! will meet Mondays -Thursdays at 7 different SBUSD elementary campuses: Adams, Franklin, McKinley, Monroe, Roosevelt, SBCA & Washington, beginning the week of Sept 29, 2025.

This wonderful activity supplements the school music programs by adding one to two additional music lessons each week – free of charge!

Your child will grow musically and gain valuable experience by performing in large ensembles coached by master musicians.

Instrumental Music Instruction

Free after-school instrumental music instruction led by SBUSD music directors in partnership with teaching artists from the Santa Barbara Symphony, UCSB, SBCC, and Westmont College.

Schedule

3:10–4:30 p.m. (specific days vary by site)

Enrollment

All SBUSD elementary students are welcome at any SBUSD BRAVO! site (attendance at the host school is not required). Our Junior high pilot is for students enrolled in 7th Grade at La Cumbre Junior High School.

Highlights include

Marching in the Milpas Holiday Parade, performing with the SBUSD Honor Band and performing at the SBCC String and Wind Festival!
