California State Teachers’ Retirement System

Ryan holds a BA in Administration from Cal State San Bernadion and an MBA in Management from the University of Redlands. He has worked with CalSTRS for 10 years and adds, “My time with CalSTRS has allowed me to appreciate and admire California’s educators. I have a passion for educating CalSTRS members about retirement planning and financial awareness.”

After 20 years as a teacher, instructional coach, and principal in the Los Angeles Unified School District, Mary Ann embarked on a new chapter as a financial planner. She has been interested in personal finance since her first days in the classroom. She earned her Certified Financial Planner designation in 2024.
