All proceeds from this show benefit the Grace Fisher Foundation and its mission of bringing adaptive art\, music and dance programs to children and young adults with disabilities. DESCRIPTION:This concert by the Santa Barbara Symphony centers around the debut of a brand new Orchestral composition by local composer Cody Westheimer with direct input from representatives of the Chumash tribe\, recounting and building musically on some of the Chumash culture’s most beloved stories and legends\, read during the piece by Chumash elders. Wisdom of the Sky\, Water\, and Earth is a meditation and celebration of the way our natural world shapes us and the ways we can learn from the animals we share it with.
