Kind Mind

Empowering schools and communities to practice mindfulness, kindness and nature-immersion that enhance belonging, social-emotional learning, resilience, equity, and caring for our world.

Kind Mind Logo

Kind Mind teaches and facilitates the regular practice of mindfulness and compassion skills using a nature-based approach and provides social-emotional learning lessons to improve self-awareness, attention and emotion regulation, and social skills.

Learning how to stay kind, curious, alert, and relaxed during our experiences helps students through intense emotions, stress, and anxiety.

Kind Mind provides weekly lessons for all classes, ideas for daily practice, staff training, and daily support at recess and lunch–building relationships with students and helping resolve conflicts using restorative approaches.

Through in-person connections with cultural-sensitivity and a trauma-informed approach, we empower and collaborate with educators and leaders to implement Kind Mind tailored to each unique community, district, school, grade-level, & classroom.

Donate to Kind Mind

Your investment will allow Kind Mind to teach students self-awareness, compassion, kindness and restorative practices that can lift stress and anxiety and bring happiness and resilience; to support teachers to infuse mindfulness into their classrooms and schools; and to develop long-term strategies to sustain a mindful school culture.

Children developed self-awareness and the ability to articulate what is happening inside of them. They start practicing mindfulness skills unprompted, and ask to take a moment before responding in a difficult conversation.
